“We have been house parents since July, 2022.  We have experienced so much joy and growth with the guys and have learned to enjoy the simplicities and the beauty of Sun Ridge Ranch and the surroundings.  It is a privilege to have become intimate with the guy’s routines, personalities and habits.  Going through good times and bad and taking time to enjoy the ride to the Trellis Center where we often see wild and domestic animals, mountains, beautiful landscaping, and we almost always hear a song or two from the guys.
The work schedule gives us an opportunity to recharge and enjoy our personal time off and, thanks to the guys. we are better at seeing how important life’s simplicities are.”
